  For the most part, First Step Pediatrics was okay. When my son was first born, I'm pretty sure I called them everyday.
  
  To be honest, it really depends on who you get to treat your child. Each person seems to have their own opinion about what the best course of action is in regards to your child's health, which would be expected I suppose. I trust the opinion of some PAs more than others.
  
  When my son was two days old, I brought him in thinking he may have jaundice. The PA I spoke with said he was fine, and sent me on my way. A few hours later, I decided to ignore her medical opinion and trust my gut. I took him to cook children's to get checked out, and he indeed had jaundice. We had to stay in the hospital for four days.
  
  In the office's defense, they never scheduled me with that PA again.
  
  My son is now almost five months old. I have been to this office 7 times, and haven't yet met Dr. Arouse. So I guess you could say he isn't exactly "readily available".
